In order to mitigate unwanted effects from available sunlight (changing of brightness and light color), I used a cross-polarized ringflash setup to capture 337 images of a relatively large (311cm circumference) oak tree trunk. After photogrammetric processing I derived highpoly, lowpoly and baking plane meshes together with a 16K base color map. Baking and seam reduction was done in Unity ArtEngine. My goal is to have different texture sets (young, intermediate, old) for my custom oak tree models.
